• 1 grass-fed beef heart
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce
  • Olive oil - good amount
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic - minced


  1. Rinse heart well under cold water
  2. Cut heart in half long ways and remove any blood vessels and arteries
  3. In a large bowl or dish combine soy sauce, olive oil and garlic
  4. Place in marinade. Let marinade for 30 minutes to 1 hour
  5. Cook each piece of heart 5-6 minutes on each side until a nice golden crust forms
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes, slice and serve!
